The technical problems and systemic weaknesses found in the interconnection of POS and cash registers with AADE were presented by the representatives of the Panattic Federation of Professional Associations of Market Sellers to the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Haris Theoharis.
With its announcement, the federation details the following:
Due to insurmountable technical problems and objective systemic weaknesses of the interconnection of POS and cash registers with AADE, a meeting of the board of directors of POSPLA was held, in the presence of the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Haris Theoharis and the president of technical support of the cash systems Vangelis Rossetou, from which important issues have arisen and for which we are informing all professionals:
We are not proceeding with any software upgrades of our POS and cash registers.
We do not make any purchase, rental or other supply of new POS machines and cash registers.
Those who have purchased POS or have ordered them must inform their associations about their registration.
During the meeting, specific issues related to technical weaknesses for the connection of the POS and the interconnection of the cash registers were raised to the deputy minister for which he reserved an answer until the end of the current week.
In any case, we do not proceed with any action, appointment or meeting with banks or other financial institutions (VIVA, etc.) before contacting your unions.
With a newer announcement from POSPLA, information will be provided on the options that exist in order for the further movements of the professionals to be in line with the legislation and the time frames it determines.
