Three houses were completely reduced to ashes following a powerful explosion that killed five people and injured three in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Footage of the disaster was captured by a surveillance camera in a Pittsburgh neighborhood.
On Sunday, images captured from a CNN-affiliated helicopter show the extent of the devastation.
The explosion occurred in a house and the flames spread to two neighboring residences.
A total of twelve houses suffered material damage.
The cause of the explosion is still not known.
