PRESIDENT-elect Prabowo Subianto claims to have received notification from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) during the 2024 Presidential Election. Differences in political choices do not break the ties between the two parties in the next government.

“Different choices, we don’t have a problem, they have different permissions, we also remain friends. That’s what we want politics in Indonesia, politics that always upholds, respects each other. Once the match is over, we will work together again,” said Prabowo after meeting the leadership. PKS at his residence in Kertanegara, South Jakarta, Friday (11/10/2024).

The general chairman of the Gerindra Party added that PKS agreed to return to a coalition and collaborate in government. He admitted that he remembered starting political cooperation with PKS in 2014.

“We both want the best for our people. We are aware that all elements of political leadership must be aware, must understand and understand our obligations to prioritize and prioritize the interests of our people,” he added.

Prabowo admitted that he often communicated with the PKS leadership. However, he has not revealed this to the public so far.

“Actually, we contact frequently, but often not in front of the media. But this time we consider it necessary to explain to all audiences that we are determined to work together, determined to do the best for our nation and people,” he said. (Faj/P-3)
