The Pope invites us to pray to the Almighty for peace in the war-torn Ukraine and in other parts of the world.
Pope Francis gave this invitation following the midday prayer he led at the Vatican on Tuesday (15/08/23), the day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Pope said that there are many wars in the world today, the roar of weapons drowns out dialogue and the law of force prevails over the force of law.
But the Pope inspired everyone to move forward in prayer with hope and not despair.
