Spielberg – Thomas Preining finished sixth in the first of two DTM home races at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg and thus gained three points in the title fight. The Porsche driver from Upper Austria is only six points behind the Italian Mirko Bortolotti (Lamborghini) in the overall standings, who mightn’t get past ninth place on Saturday. South African Kelvin Van der Linde won. The second race in Styria takes place on Sunday (1:30 p.m.).
