Guillermo Lasso, president of Ecaudor announced on Saturday that he modified a decree to authorize the possession and carrying of weapons for civilian use for personal defense. “We are going to fight criminals with all the rigor of the law because our priority is your peace of mind,” Lasso said. The decision is made following the Constitutional Court endorsed Congress to impeach the president.
