The Ministry of Health and Population revealed the steps for registration within the President of the Republic’s initiative to care for maternal and fetal health in health units.
Registration steps include:
1- Go to the nearest health unit.
2- Register the woman’s data on the initiative’s program.
3- Register personal data on the card.
4- Recording the test results on the card.
5- Conducting analysis for blood sugar, viruses, human immunodeficiency, syphilis, and hepatitis B.
6- Measure height, weight and blood pressure.
7- Entering the results into the registration program.
The Ministry of Health and Population continued: “If the result, following conducting the tests, is high blood sugar, the place of referral is recorded on the card and delivered to the woman, while if the result is negative, the card is delivered to the woman and pregnancy care services are completed.”
