President Gustavo Petro questioned the request made by the Oversight of the Liberal Party who asked to open an investigation disciplinary to the liberal congressmen María Eugenia Lopera and Dolcey Torres, for their support for the health reform.
The president shared a message on his Twitter account in which he assured:
“Given the freedom of vote granted to the liberal party members to support presidential campaigns, these two liberal representatives they supported my presidential campaign and my officially registered program. Taking away your political rights is a violation of the american convention”, trilled the president.
The investigation would be carried out following former President Cesar Gaviria warned of sanctions once morest parliamentarians who voted in favor of the reform to health in the Congress of the Republic
