Ambassador Nabila Makram, former Minister of Immigration, confirmed that every entity in Egypt needs a psychological evaluation and attention to the mental health of its employees, not just teachers, explaining that the Fahim Foundation is an awareness-raising organization that may address the issue of addiction in the future.

Makram explained, during her interview with the journalist Osama Kamal, on the “Masaa DMC” program, broadcast on the “DMC” screen, that the social worker and psychologist in schools is the one who warns teachers and directs them in good ways in dealing with children and students.

She continued: “With the Ministry of Education, 1,500 psychologists were trained to detect mental illness in children and communicate with parents. This experience was circulated to all government schools, and there were many activities in universities and communication with students, stressing that there is no term “crazy” in the medical dictionary. We are the ones who produced these terms, explaining that there are support groups to help mothers deal with their mentally ill children.
