Private companies allowed to import fuel in Sri Lanka | Sri Lanka

Colombo: The Sri Lankan government has allowed private companies to import fuel amid a severe financial crisis. The Petroleum Products Act was amended yesterday to make this possible.

Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, a public sector oil company, is unable to import enough petroleum products due to lack of foreign exchange.
