Vienna – The planned ORF law entails further statements and demands: the WKO association of the film and music industry issued a broadcast on Tuesday in favor of legally anchoring a earmarking for Austrian productions in the ORF amendment. “In order to ensure that the new regulation of the ORF financing through the household levy strengthens the Austrian program share accordingly, a binding positive earmarking for independent programs in all categories of at least 20 percent of the household levy must be stipulated,” says Alexander Dumreicher-Ivanceanu, chairman of the WKO professional association, quoted.
