A few days ago, the Social Work and General Medicine Residency of the Health Center received the third prize in the Experience Reports category of the 10th Congress of General Medicine.
With the work they have been doing in the schools of our district Multiplying is the task: co-creating visions regarding ESI, the Drs. Malen Carrizo, Danisa Heidam and Graduates in Social Work Ana Bayugar, Rocio Rocha and Marina Nepote, who work at the Pirovano Hospital and Primary Care, participated in the exhibitions with different municipalities and obtained the third prize from the Scientific Committee of the AMGBA chaired by Dr. Edgardo Marambio.
In this framework, the Directors of the Health Center, Dr. Ana Basilio and Dr. Alexis Porgozelsky, met with the professionals to share the conclusions of the Congress and the realities of primary care in the province and thanked them for the work carried out.

For their part, the members of the residence expressed “we are very happy that a joint effort between health and education has such an impact at the provincial level, of having made the presentation to professionals from all over the province and also that Tres Arroyos will stand out because we are convinced that we want to continue developing and strengthening these training spaces from interdisciplinarity and intersectorality, which added to community participation is one of the ways to guarantee the right to health”.
The members of the residence of the Hospital Pirovano, were summoned to present the work in the national congress of general medicine, to be held in the month of December in the province of San Luis.
The work presented
The project Co-Creating visions on ESI, is developed between education and health, in accordance with Law 26150 and aims to create ESI tables made up of students from private and public secondary schools.
These tables are intended to be a careful space, where students can accompany, guide, manage the demand of interests of their peers in order to guarantee CSE in schools.
