Slovakia will strengthen trade cooperation with the USA in the field of energy

Slovakia will strengthen bilateral cooperation with the United States of America in the field of civil nuclear energy, liquefied natural gas, renewable energy and hydrogen. On March 1, Minister of Economy Karel Hirman and State Secretary of the US Department of Commerce Don Graves signed a joint statement on business cooperation in the energy sector. The Ministry of Economy informs regarding it.
The statement updates the two countries’ 2012 agreement. “It will foster greater bilateral cooperation between our governments and the private sector in civil nuclear power, liquefied natural gas, renewable energy and hydrogen. It also highlights our joint efforts toward energy security and sustainability and accelerating the clean energy transition,” Hirman and Graves said in a joint statement.
