Al Dhafra, on the first of September, WAM, the Municipal Presence Team in Al Dhafra Region Municipality organized a campaign for bicycle users to raise awareness of the importance of adhering to the security and safety requirements and requirements and instructions of the road signs, and to avoid illegal behavior, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of community members.
The campaign comes out of the municipality’s keenness to raise the awareness of bicycle users regarding the importance of safe driving.
It also aims to educate cyclists regarding road safety regulations and laws, clarify wrong practices while cycling on the road and urge them to drive in the lanes designated for them in order to avoid any risks that may result from misuse, preserve the municipality’s assets, enhance the efficiency of managing assets, infrastructure and public facilities, and maintain on its effectiveness to enhance the emirate’s attractiveness, lifestyle and quality of life.
The campaign included field visits to all bicycle paths.
