Hermosillo, Sonora; September 12, 2023.- More than two thousand health monitoring actions and talks on self-care were carried out by Isssteson, through the Department of Preventive Medicine, during the month of August, in different organizations affiliated with the Institute.
During said month, Preventive Medicine personnel, with the support of workers from the North, South and Central CIAS in Hermosillo, as well as the Comprehensive Health Care Center in Huatabampo, carried out timely detections of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, as well as other risk factor’s.
In addition, they provided oral health promotion actions, nutrition consultations, vaccination once morest tetanus and pneumococcus in older adults.
In total, there were 2,142 actions carried out in organizations such as the Day House of Section 54 of the SNTE, Icatson, Ministry of Agriculture, University of Sonora and DIF Sonora, sites that were visited by nurses, nutrition professionals and health personnel. other areas in support of Isssteson’s work for disease prevention and detection.
