In view of World Sexual Health Day on September 4, the Montérégie-Est Integrated Health and Social Services Center wishes to recall the presence of services and professionals dedicated to sexual health when we observe a significant increase of several sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections in the population.

Present in secondary schools, CEGEPs, vocational schools as well as in certain CLSCs, the youth clinic for young people aged 12 to 24 and the sexual health clinic offer consultations on several subjects, including contraception, screening and prevention of infections, STBBIs. There are also more specialized services for men who have sex with men, people who use drugs by injection or inhalation, people who have been incarcerated, young people in difficulty, sex workers, trans people and people from an area where HIV infection is endemic. Several resources are also available online on the Santé Montérégie portal.
