This virtual training will equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively work with and protect minors who identify as LGBTQ+. Join the Office of Equity Assurance to learn regarding legal and ethical considerations, including confidentiality and mandated reporting, to ensure the protection and rights of LGBTQ+ youth are upheld. This training will be from 12- 1 pm on Thursday, Dec. 7 and presented by the Youth Protection Program Specialist, Maya Huggins. Register for the Zoom session on Supporting LGBTQ+ minors.
