Clarion returns 13 total starters from last year’s team that went 3-8 overall with a 1-5 record in the PSAC West division. Eight of those starters are on the offensive side of the ball, including all five starters along the offensive line for the second consecutive season.

He was a first team D2CCA All-Super Region 1 selection and a second team All-PSAC West honoree as a punter,and has been named to the D2Football.com Elite 100 preseason second team.

Shepherd welcomes back three All-PSAC East honorees: offensive lineman Brandon Carr,running back Malakai Brown,and running back Jordan barnett. Carr also received All-Region recognition and a spot on the 2025 D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List Second Team.
