The West is trying to undermine Russian society and relies on “national traitors” who want to make money on it. This was announced on February 21 by President Vladimir Putin in a message to the Federal Assembly.
Putin promised that those who “took the path of direct betrayal, commit other crimes” will be held accountable under the law. However, Russia will not engage in “witch-hunting” like Kyiv and the Western elites.
“We will not settle scores with those who have abandoned their Motherland. The way it will remain on their conscience, they have to live with it. The main thing is that the citizens of the Russian Federation gave them a moral assessment. The majority of citizens took a principled position in relation to the NVO, supported our position in relation to the Donbass, this showed patriotism, ”Putin said.
