Al-Marsad newspaper: The Criminal Court in Riyadh sentenced an Arab resident to 10 months in prison and a fine of 30,000 riyals, and defamed him at his expense in two local newspapers, following he was convicted of verbally sexually harassing an employee at the workplace and threatening her with death.

The resident was found guilty of verbally harassing the female employee in the workplace over which he has direct authority, and threatening to kill her by placing a slip of paper with a picture of a pistol-type firearm and ammunition written at the bottom, “Soon, God willing.” According to “Today”

The court ruled that he be imprisoned for 10 months – three months of which he spent – and a fine of 30,000 riyals, and the summary of the final conviction was published at the convict’s expense in two local newspapers.
