Doha: The Qatar Meteorological Department has announced that October 16 will be the first day of Al Wasmi’ from Sunday. This season is the beginning of the rainy season. The season will continue for 52 days till December 6.
The temperature in Doha will drop during this season. Weather will be hot during the day and cool at night.
This period is known as Al-Wazmi because it coincides with the rains that cause the growth of various plants such as the truffle (Plant Geranium (Al-Yarwa).
