Payment system Qiwi will sell Russian assets to a Hong Kong company owned by Chief Executive Officer Andrei Protopopov. This was reported by the company’s press service.

“Qiwi plc will sell Russian assets consolidated under QIWI JSC to the Hong Kong company Fusion Factor Fintech Limited,” the statement said. The transaction price is 23.75 billion rubles. After the transaction is completed, Qiwi Plc will once more repurchase American depositary shares from the Nasdaq and Moscow Exchange.
