The Quebecer Leylah Fernandez and the Greek Maria Sakkari, who were to face each other the day before, will finally cross swords on Friday during their match in the second round of the WTA tournament in Washington.
The meeting will be presented on TVA Sports, from 12 p.m.
The two players were originally due to fight for victory the day before, but the weather conditions decided otherwise.
Sakkari is the tournament’s fourth seed.
The winner of the match will face American Madison Keys, seeded seventh, later in the day in the quarter-finals.
