Rahul Gandhi in Kerala; Bharat Jodo Yatra gets enthusiastic reception in Parassala

Thiruvananthapuram: The Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi received enthusiastic reception in Parassala. The padayatra in Kerala started from Parassala at 7 am on Sunday morning. KPCC President K. Sudhakaran, Leader of Opposition V.D. Satheesan, D.C.C. All the important leaders of Kerala including President Palot Ravi, Oommen Chandy and Ramesh Chennithala came to welcome the Yatra.

The journey starting from Parashala was carried out by the freedom fighter G. It will conclude at the Madhava Mandir, the abode of Ramachandran. Rahul Gandhi will interact with traditional weavers. He will visit Gandhi Museum at Madhava Mandir.

In the evening at Nims hospital premises, Gandhian Gopinathan Nair and K.E. Maman’s stupa will also be unveiled. The evening journey will conclude at Nemat. The padayatra which starts from Nemat on 12th morning will end at Patta.

The 19-day padayatra in Kerala will cover a distance of 450 km. Rahul Gandhi will interact with cultural and social leaders and students of Jawahar Balmanj.
