The Raiders Tirol suffered their first defeat of the season in the European League of Football (ELF) on the fourth day.
Head coach Kevin Herron’s team lost 6-3 (3-0) in a defensive battle at Stuttgart Surge on Sunday. Raiders quarterback Christian Strong didn’t have a good day with zero touchdowns and a thrown interception.
With 3-1 victories, Innsbruck are now in second place behind the Germans (3-0) in the Central Conference.
The next opponents for the Tyroleans are the Milano Seamen in Innsbruck next Sunday (4:25 p.m.).
