Rain continues in the northern region of Oman. Musandam Governorate received the most rainfall. As part of the formation of low pressure, Buraimi, North Bathina and Dahira governorates are warned that rain will continue on Sunday. The Civil Aviation Department also said there is a chance of thunder and lightning.

Meanwhile, Civil Defense and Ambulance rescued a three-member family trapped in a wadi in Khasab Vilayam of Musandam Governorate. They were trapped in the plaintiff’s car and were brought out by the rescue workers. The rains in and around Khasab flooded the plaintiffs. The civil defense authorities had warned that people should not get off the wadi and vehicles should not land on the wadi.

At the same time, the authorities advised people to ensure safety in the event of continued rain. 10 to 40 mm of rain may be received at various places. A flood of plaintiffs is also likely. Wind speed will be 28 to 45 km per hour. The coasts of Musandam and North Bathina governorates may experience two to three meter waves. Waves are likely to rise to two meters on other coasts of Oman.
