Aída Martínez responded to the criticism she has faced following announcing a raffle in which the prize is her motorcycle. The model assured that everything raised will go to a fund intended for her health, since she has partially lost her sight.

As reported by ATV Noticias, Aída pointed out that she does not have million-dollar accounts in the bank and that her lifestyle has not been ostentatious.
“We have our money invested in assets, I don’t have million-dollar accounts in the bank. (…) I have never been an ostentatious woman, I have not been seen wearing Gucci glasses, Chanel wallets, Prada bags or with a square Mercedes Benz at my door,” she said.
Aída Martínez also revealed that the real value of her motorcycle is 15 thousand soles and that the raffle is a way to sell one of her assets to cover the medical expenses necessary for her treatment.
“It’s a little pathetic to have to tell them what we do or don’t do with the money. We are not asking them to give us money. We are exchanging things. I sell a Subaru, they give me money; I raffle off a motorcycle, anyway,” she finally expressed.
