Actor Bassam Koussa returns to work once more with Tim Hassan, 14 years following their last artistic collaboration, since the series “Time of Shame” by director Rasha Sharbatji, which achieved great success at the time.
Bassam Koussa embodies a character called “Riyad,” a Damascene merchant who secretly cooperates with the French, which puts him in constant conflict with Taim Hassan “Taj.”
The events of the work go back to the 1940s, a few years before Syria’s independence from French colonialism. The work is written by Omar Abu Saada and directed by Samer Al-Barqawi.
