Sharjah: The 15-day reading of the Ramayana in the month of Cancer will be completed on Monday. Families gather to read the Ramayana in the homes of believers in the UAE. Many people are participating in the reading online as well. Each day, along with the reading, the story summary of the parts read is briefly described. Writers and Sannyasis from Kerala also give lectures on the relevance of Ramayana. Houses where reading is done daily are known as Puja Bhavanas. Many people also do special pooja for Rama Lakshmana, Sita and Hanuman. Manas Sharjah, N.S. Ramayana reading is being done under the leadership of organizations like S, Sarvaja and Ekta.
