Spanish media reported that Real Madrid is seeking to reach a Moroccan child affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Morocco last Saturday.

The newspaper “Madrid Extra” said that the Moroccan child, Abdel Rahim, attracted the attention of Real Madrid, following he appeared on a television program wearing the Spanish club’s shirt.

She noted: “Abdul Rahim said that he lost his father, mother, siblings, and grandfather in the earthquake, indicating that his father wanted to teach so that he might become a doctor or teacher.”

She explained that the human story received a lot of sympathy on social media, which contributed to Real Madrid actually starting to work to locate Abdul Rahim, as the “Royal” intends to bring him to Spain so that he can fulfill his father’s dream and finish his studies.

It is noteworthy that Morocco suffered an earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale, causing the deaths of more than 2,862 people, with injuries and severe material damage.
