Police located a 39-year-old man on Tuesday evening who had been sentenced to four years in prison for the attempted murder of a bus driver. He was staying with a friend, also wanted by the prosecution, in an apartment located in Antwerp. During the search, the intervention team came across a seriously injured hostage, aged 52. The victim apparently owed money to the wanted individuals.
The convicted criminal and his partner were transferred to prison to serve their sentences. They will appear before the investigating judge for the latest acts committed.
