British maritime security company Ambrey said it had received reports of suspicious activity from two commercial ships southwest of Yemen’s Mokha.

In a statement, Ambre said that a tanker spotted three boats near it and saw two missiles fired from the direction of the boats.

Ambre added in an advisory note that a cargo carrier reported two missiles being fired from the direction of the boats and a drone flying in front of the ship.

On the other hand, Yemeni sources said that the Houthi militia fired a missile targeting a ship in the southern Red Sea.

The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority said that it had received a report regarding an incident in the Red Sea, regarding 50 nautical miles west of the Yemeni city of Hodeidah.

The authority added that the authorities are investigating the matter.
