A strong seismic movement was felt this Wednesday night minutes following 11 p.m.
According to the data provided by the Provincial Institute for Seismic Prevention, it had a magnitude of 4.8 degrees on the Richter scale and was 19 kilometers deep.
The tremor was felt strongly in different parts of Mendoza. The epicenter was located just northeast of the provincial capital.
It was the second earthquake that was perceived in our province in less than 24 hours. In the early morning, another movement had awakened the Mendoza; this time with an epicenter near the City of Mendoza.
