Reception centers for the disabled, hit hard by the second wave


Several residents of Walloon institutions recently died from the coronavirus.

In most institutions for disabled people, the second wave is much more violent than the first. Contrary to what we see in nursing homes, heavily affected in the spring but now under control, many institutions for people with disabilities deplore a dramatic increase in contamination this fall. This is the case of the Namur institution, The Sweetness of the Mosan Hills, where three residents lost their lives at the end of October.
