The holiday season has gotten ahead of itself on the stock market. The CAC 40 index broke its historic record on the Paris Stock Exchange during the session. In Frankfurt, the DAX is already trading at the highest level in its history. Wall Street is also enthusiastic: the S&P 500 has returned to its level of March 2022, while the Nasdaq with its strong technological coloring is at its highest since the beginning of April 2022.

World stock markets are being carried by a wind of euphoria at the end of the year. In question, the long-awaited arrival of disinflation and the prospect of more accommodating monetary policies next year. The scenario of a soft landing for the economy, which would see corporate profits remain at historically high levels, gives wings to investors.
