“On 60 ares, I harvested 1600 kg, which gives a yield of 2500 kg per hectare. It’s similar to what we get in the plain in organic”, rejoices Jérémie Gerber.
Excellent oil yield
The first part of his harvest sorted and dried, he took it to the Soyhières mill: “The oil yield is 40%, whereas in general it is more around 32 or 33%, they never had seen that”, exults the young farmer, just 19 years old.
