Record of NAB references against various leaders including Zardari, Nawaz in accountability courts

Records of various NAB references against former President Asif Zardari, former Prime Ministers Nawaz Sharif, Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf have been submitted in the accountability courts.

The implementation of the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan to nullify the NAB amendments is ongoing. The records of 18 more references were submitted today by the investigation officers of NAB.

Records of 44 out of 80 references have been submitted to accountability courts so far. Tosha Khana reference record has been submitted against Nawaz Sharif, Yusuf Raza Gilani and Asif Zardari.

The record of rental power reference against Raja Pervez Ashraf has also been submitted. The reference record of suspicious transaction of 8 billion rupees against Asif Zardari has also been submitted.

The investigating officers of NAB have submitted the three references in Accountability Court No. 3 of Islamabad. The NAB records submitted by the officials of the accountability court are also being scrutinized.

It should be remembered that on September 15 of this month, the former Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial, on the last day before his retirement, gave the verdict in the last case in which the petition of Chairman PTI against the NAB amendments was declared admissible and many clauses of the NAB amendments were declared admissible. was declared null and void.

The Supreme Court had reinstated all the cases that ended up falling short of the Rs 50 crore threshold and ordered all the cases to be rescheduled to the accountability courts.

References are being sent back by NAB to the accountability courts across the country on the order of the Supreme Court.
