TORONTO — Rafael Devers hit his 20th home run of the season, Justin Turner also hit it and scored three times and the Red Sox spoiled Canada Day celebrations in Toronto by beating the Blue Jays 7-6 on Saturday.

Outfielder Alex Verdugo tagged Bo Bichette at the plate for the final out of the game following Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had an RBI single off Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen. George Springer scored on the play, but Bichette was tagged out by catcher Caleb Hamilton.

Verdugo’s assist gave Jansen his 17th save in 20 chances.

Devers went 5-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Turner made it 3-for-5 with two RBIs.

Boston was left with a .500 percentage with a 42-42 mark. The Red Sox are 37-13 when they score four or more runs.

For the Red Sox, Puerto Rican Enrique Hernández de. 4-1.

For the Blue Jays, the Dominican Guerrero 4-1, one scored and one towed.
