Redeeming Microsoft Points Caused a Large Number of Users to Be Banned Official Response: Repairing | XFastest News

Microsoft Rewards is a point system set up by Microsoft to motivate users to interact with its services. Users can exchange points for rewards such as gift cards in the Microsoft store.

However, during this period of time, many users found themselves banned for no reason when redeeming points.

According to user feedback on Reddit, when trying to redeem points, some users will be told that they need to contact technical support. After waiting for a period of time to access once more, it will display “This account has been suspended” and cannot be used normally.

In this regard, Microsoft has already responded.

According to a reply from Daniel Martins, head of marketing at Xbox Loyalty, Microsoft has rolled out a temporary fix over the weekend that will prevent more account bans.

For accounts that have been banned, Martins said the team will meet today to determine how to proceed with a full patch.
