Rehabilitation of the Zacango Ecological Park ready in July-September of this year

Since January 1 of this year, the State Commission for Parks and Fauna (Cepanaf) reported on the temporary closure of the Zacango Ecological Park located in Calimaya due to scheduled remodeling work.

Through a statement, the Government of the State of Mexico has informed regarding the work carried out in this site that is home to more than 170 species of animals.

“Through the Departments of Urban Development and Works and the Environment, the state administration works to increase the well-being of fauna under human care and the experience of visitors to this ecological park, located in Calimaya.”

In this site, some areas will be rehabilitated and others will be built to continue strengthening the conservation, care and dissemination of animal species.

The objective is that said public space is merely inclusive and it is considered that the work to be carried out and in development will conclude during the third quarter of this year.

That is to say, that from July to September, there will be a rehabilitated Park and the date of inauguration will be announced by the Secretary of Urban Development and Works.

It should be mentioned that this Park joins those that the state government has transformed to improve their infrastructure and also to promote healthy coexistence among families and combat crime rates and additions.
