Guwahati, Assam – Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries Limited, has inaugurated a new bottling plant in Guwahati, Assam. This state-of-the-art facility, developed in partnership with local company Jericho, will produce a range of popular beverages, including Campa Cola, Campa Orange, Campa Lemon, Power Up, and packaged drinking water under the Independence and Sure Water brands.

Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, officially opened the plant on Saturday, highlighting its meaning in contributing to the region’s industrial and economic growth. “Common peopel can purchase Campa’s products at a very affordable price.That is one of the big advantages with Campa Cola. while they are giving at an affordable price, they are not compromising with the quality, which is at par with other global standards,” said Sarma during the event.

Boosting Local Economy and Employment

This new plant, spanning over 6 lakh sq.ft., is among the largest beverage manufacturing units in the Northeast. With an initial production capacity of over 10 crore litres for carbonated soft drinks and nearly 18 crore litres for packaged drinking water, it is indeed expected to significantly enhance the availability of beverages to meet growing consumer demand.

The most promising aspect of this project is its potential to create employment opportunities. “I believe that this brand will grow from strength to strength and will have an possibility to expand more.
