French director and screenwriter Sophie Fillières died on Monday at the age of 58, according to information from Liberation. Our French colleagues clarified that she was suffering from an illness.

She had just finished filming her seventh feature film, entitled “Ma Vie, ma Gueule”, with Philippe Katerine. She has directed around ten short and feature films, including the romantic comedy “La Belle et la Belle” (2017) and the film “Arrête ou je continue” (2014).
