Singer and actress Jane Birkin died at the age of 76, several media reported on Sunday. British naturalized French, she was found lifeless at her Parisian home, according to Le Parisien.
After making her film debut in Great Britain in the 1960s, Jane Birkin settled in France where she notably formed a couple of artistic and popular fame in the 1970s with Serge Gainsbourg.
This Londoner of origin, whose name is inseparable from that of Serge Gainsbourg, had recently announced health problems which had forced her to cancel concerts.
