Real Madrid CF, its president and its management deeply regret the loss of Pepe Domingo Castaño, master and legend of communication and sports journalism in Spain.
Real Madrid would like to express its most sincere condolences and provide all its support to his family, his comrades and all his loved ones.
Among the numerous awards he has obtained during his extraordinary professional career, he counts the National Prize for Arts and Sciences applied to Sport from the Higher Sports Council in 2012, four Wave Prizes, two Golden Antennas and a Microphone d’Or. Gold of the Federation of Associations of Radio and Television Professionals of Spain, and the Joaquin Prat Radio Prize awarded by the Spanish Academy of Radio in 2014.
Pepe Domingo Castaño died at age 80. May he rest in peace.
