Removing a huge tumor from the body of a young man in Lebanon – Cedar News

A unique surgical achievement. The head of the Department of General Surgery and Bariatric Surgery at Al-Zahra Hospital – University Medical Center, Professor Samer Dabouq, in conjunction with Professor Ali Shukr, a specialist in liver surgery and transplantation, performed an operation to remove a huge hematoma in the left liver of a 27-year-old patient.
After conducting research studies on the nature and size of tumors of this type worldwide, it was found that the tumor that was removed was one of the largest in terms of size and weight (3.5 kg), and the operation was crowned with success.
