Thiruvananthapuram: The Assistant Director of Fisheries said that all the traditional fishing vessels registered in the District Fisheries Department should renew their licences. RC owners currently registered with Real Craft should approach their respective Matsya Bhavans and submit cancellation and transfer details.
Otherwise license fee along with dues will be collected from the fishing vessels. The Assistant Director of Vizhinjam Fisheries Station said that all vessels whose licenses have expired will be impounded and penal action will be taken.
