It is reported that Vijay Sethupathi will play the lead role in the new film directed by Mishkin. It is also said that the film will be produced by the production house behind hit films like Asuran and Karnan. Sources close to the filmmaker indicate that the pre-production work of the film is currently underway. Major portions of the film will be shot in and around Chennai.
The makers had said that Vijay Sethupathi will play a pivotal role in Mishkin’s Pisasu 2 starring Andrea. The actor plays the role of a doctor. The makers are waiting to announce the release date of the film following the post-production work has been completed.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi starrer Amazon Prime series ‘Farsi’ is number one in India. Many people have praised the series. The first season began streaming on Amazon Prime on February 10. The series is scripted and directed by Raj DK. Cinematography is done by Pankaj Kumar. Other stars of the series are Bhuvan Arora, Jaswant Dalal, KK Menon, Amol Palekar and Zakir Hussain.
