Resident Evil: new revelations from Capcom for Halloween?

Game news Resident Evil: new revelations from Capcom for Halloween?

The year 2021 marks the 25th anniversary of the zombie saga and Capcom seems well and truly determined to take advantage of any event that can parallel its famous license to make some announcements. As Halloween approaches, the publisher has opened a mysterious website that lets us assume that something is going on behind the scenes.

Twenty-five years after the release of his first opus, the saga Resident Evil always manages to carve out a place of choice in the news. Lately, the license was talking about it through its seventh numbered episode, Resident Evil VII : Biohazard, who picked up a new record, or his next film Welcome To Raccoon City.

After a eighth episode which offered us an entertaining experience, sometimes even surprising at times, all eyes are on the future. And, between the rumors that come and go and the mysterious teasing in which Capcom is embarking on a strange website, there is enough to grind your brain to know what really awaits us in the days to come!

As part of Halloween, Capcom therefore plans to make several announcements that will follow one another in the coming days: if we are to believe the site, three of them will be made on October 21, two others the next day, that is to say on October 22, and finally two last announcements which will take place respectively on October 25 and 29. These will follow the recent announcement of Resident Evil 4 in VR on the Oculus Quest 2.

For now, it is difficult to predict what Capcom plans to announce in the coming days: a new Resident Evil remake? A DLC for Resident Evil Village? A new project not yet unveiled? The possibilities are wide but everything leads us to believe, given the event, that the publisher has some frightening surprises in store for us that will make us shiver!
