Revamping Overwatch 2: Game Director Addresses Negative Reviews, Promises Enhanced Accessibility and Exciting Updates

2023-08-19 08:30:00
Aaron Keller, Game Director of Overwatch 2, responded to the many negative reviews on Steam that continue to pile up. He stated that “spy bombing is not a lot of fun”, while personally it’s great to see how many new players enter Overwatch 2. He added that Blizzard’s goal in Overwatch 2 is greater accessibility to a wider range of people. The game director also noted that most of the reviews mention PvE missions, which, as a result, the developers failed to implement properly. In this regard, the developer concluded that all that remains for them at this stage is to supplement and improve Overwatch 2: more maps, heroes, game modes, missions, stories, events, cosmetic items and functions. The number of negative reviews for Overwatch 2 on Steam is increasing every day – the game has already managed to top the rating of the platform’s lowest rated games, and some reviews collect a huge amount of points and user reactions.
