United States – The technology company Aquaai has invented a way to provide data regarding waterways and control pollution due to which the ecosystem is no longer able to restore balance once more.
One of the company’s founders, Simon Petrkoski, believed that the goal of deploying fish-like robots swimming in waterways is to fill this information gap by using robots that collect data from underwater environments.
He revealed that it is battery-powered and designed to look and swim like a fish, with a body and tail that move from side to side while cruising through the water.
He pointed out that its skin is made of orange, white, and black neoprene, and its standard length is approximately 1.3 meters, weighs 30 kilograms, and can be equipped with cameras and sensors to measure oxygen levels, salinity, and pH.
He stressed that it is important for the devices to be able to integrate into natural habitats, swim among other creatures without disturbing them, and maneuver around obstacles smoothly.
Aquaai still has to overcome some hurdles before the robots it invented can roam waterways around the world.
“Investors need to wake up,” Pieterkowski commented. “This is really regarding a last-ditch effort to save the very thing that keeps humanity alive.”
